Sampler Swap

Always wanted to know what was in The Sampler, but never managed to snag one in that short little window when they are available? Now is your chance! I’m offering up the April and May Sampler to a pair of randomly selected commenters who tell me their favorite repurposed household item (old sneakers turned into a planter, toilet paper tube walkie-talkies).

Not pictured here, but also included are copies of Croc Zine, the zine for and by crafters; Lemongrass Fennel Guest Soap from Barcelona Bath & Body, as well as Simple Rosemary Hemp Soap by botanical earth.

I’ll try my best to reconstruct the Samplers as they arrived on my doorstep, but there might be a little confusion between the two packs. Just like the real Sampler, you never know what you are going to find!

Names will be drawn in one week, on Monday, May 28th.

    Ok, favorite repurposed item, hmmmm.
Does the yard count? Cuz right now my favorite anything is the pile of pallets, an old ladder and indust. plastic wrap that my Hubby turned into a Sugar Shack for boiling sap in March, it became a greenhouse in mid April and is now the kids pool cabana for changing bathing suits and drying towels.
Now I just have to fill the pool so they can use it! 🙂

Toilet paper tubes are now bobbins for my first attempts at hand spun yarn. Laundry baskets (shlepping birthday cakes too and from parties) and Easter baskets for just about everything, (napkin holder, shower caddy). My favorite, a set of old diaper wipes boxes that look like giant lego’s. They are great on the tool bench.

i know i’m too late for the draw, but this one is too fun to pass up. we buy our nuts in bulk and the peanuts come in a huge (maybe gallon sized) tin container with a plastic disk resealable top. in it we store our sons instruments, and when the can is emptied, with the top in place, it makes a lovely little drum. 🙂
